In this workshop you will learn about how yoga actually changes the brain, as shown by scientific research. We will start by reviewing the basics of brain anatomy and the methods used in brain research. This will be followed by a close examination of the cognitive and neuronal changes brought about by yoga and meditation practice, with a special focus on the influence of pranayama and meditation.
The workshop is suitable for anyone who is interested to know how yoga practice affects his brain. It is especially beneficial for teachers who want to know which information they can accurately share with their students.
This workshop will be in English with some German-translation possible on demand.
