Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra 2017

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that systematically relaxes you at every level of being. It is available for EVERYONE — you do not need to have any yoga or meditation experience. There is nothing required but to lie down and listen. You will be guided through body scanning, breath awareness, intention setting, and nature imagery. The meditation, paired with healing music, touches on all the conscious and subconscious
ayers of your being and welcomes you back home to yourself. Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra will nourish and support you in feeling empowered, peaceful, and whole just as you are.
This two-hour workshop will begin with centering, using breath awareness and mudras to help calm and relax your mind. We will then have a light asana practice to prepare your body for meditation. The Yoga Nidra meditation will last about 30-40 minutes, followed by some time at the end for journaling, drawing, or group sharing.

Julia teacher
Julia Zhao is a certified Yoga Instructor and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra guide. Her practices focus on the simplicity of breath awareness, mindful movement, and reconnecting with ourselves as whole, multi-dimensional beings. Her teachings are inspired by studies of the Chakra system, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Vipassana meditation, and spiritual travels throughout India.
